Dr Pawan Pareek Abstract 1: Homœopathic Concept and Diagnosis in the Management of Chronic Renal Failure
Chronic renal failure is posing a serious threat to the community and has become the seventh most common cause of death. We are living in the modern era; every day we are encountered with emotional, socioeconomic, and familial problems. Innumerable diseases originate and are maintained due to psychic disturbances. Kidneys fall victim to these disturbances and are sometimes damaged beyond repair and are implicated in high mortality.

Homœopathy is a constructive method of treatment, whose goal is to stop the increasing problem by removing the basic cause of disease.

A scientific clinical research work was done on an infinite number of cases during a span of 1993-2007, with great success and with an enthusiastic result, when intensive and transplantation methods were indispensable.

Relevant pathological, radiological and ultrasonological investigations become imperative to determine the cause and nature of renal diseases. Early detection ensures proper management of renal dysfunction.

Hom œ opathy does not recognize the kidney merely as a component of the human sewer system but always recognizes the totality, comprising the mental sphere, habits, past and family history with outstanding results.

Main homœopathic keys used to unlock the imprisoned diseases were: Aconite nap; Apis mel.; Acetic acid; Ars alb.; Benzoic ac.; Cuprum ars.; Digitalis; Eel serum; Glonoine; Helleborus niger.

The organ remedies in physiological doses play an important role and help in enhancing body’s natural force: Aegle folia; Apocynum can.; Solidago virg.; Urtica urens.

Haemodialysis and renal transplantation are not within reach of the majority of people in the world. The majority of cases of ARF and CRF are emergencies, with patients critically ill and hospitalized. Skillful homœopathic prescribing lessens the danger and complication of dialysis and transplantation.

In this paper, well documented and evidence based cases explain why young Homœopaths should not be discouraged with irreversible pathological changes. Homœopathy can be prescribed, keeping in mind the limitations and acknowledging that a lot of hard work and dedication will be required

Abstract 2: The Role of Homœopathy in Surgical Cases
Surgical cases continue to rise, exerting ever-increasing pressure on the patient. Surgery is a science and an art in itself, it can be called upon in conditions where medicine seems to have no or a limited role and where surgical aid can cure or improve the condition. The very ease and safety of operations, however, has caused surgery to be abused. Patients are referred to the surgeon like sheep to the slaughterhouse.

Young surgeons in India, for example, are tremendously keen and enthusiastic. Their first thought, when they see a patient is: how can I use my knife?

Homœopathy poses great challenge to both surgical and incurable cases. Although Homœopathy and surgery are two different branches, they complement each other many times viz:

  1. Utilization of homœopathic medicine to avoid surgery
  2. Utilization of homœopathic medicine where surgery was performed

Scientific clinical research work was done on an infinite number of surgical cases (cancer, hydrocephalus, benign hypertrophic prostate, mammary & uterine fibroid, brain tumor, alcoholic cirrhosis of liver, end stage renal disease, etc) during a span from 1993 to 2007, with great success and enthusiastic results, where surgery was indispensable.

Cases were diagnosed and confirmed on the basis of relevant past and family history, clinical examination, MRI&CAT scan, ultrasonological, radiological and pathological investigation. It was found that mere removal of the tangible product of disease by mechanical means does not cure the disease, but does the patient positive injury and renders the case inveterate or more difficult to cure.

Skilful homœopathic prescribing greatly lessens the danger of operating, as every surgical case has a medical aspect and can be a very good candidate for a homœopathic medicine.

Main homœopathic Keys used to unlock the imprisoned disease were: Aconite nap.; Arnica m.; Arsenic alb,; Apis mel.; Baryta carb.; Bacillinum; Causticum; Calcarea carb.; Conium m.; Nitric acid.; Opium; Phosphorus; Sabina; Secale cor.; Thuja occ.

The Organ remedies in physiological doses play an important role and help in enhancing the body’s natural force: Apocynum can.; Berb vulg.; Cardus m.; Chimaphilla u.; Erigeron; Ocimum can.; Pareira b.; Sabal serr.; Trillium p.; Thlaspi bursa pastoris; Ceanothus, etc.

No organ can become diseased without a preceding disturbance of the life principle. I have not confined myself to the part of an organ but come out of it and studied the relationship to the man as a whole.

In this paper , I give you an insight into the successful management of surgical cases which were considered severe, by repairing and assembling of the affected part following very simply the Classical Hahnemannian Homœopathy and principles.

Key Words: surgery, cancer ovary, hydrocephalus, benign hypertrophic prostate.

Biography
Dr Pawan Pareek from Agra graduated in Homœopathy from Rajasthan University, India in 1993. He has been practicing Homœopathy for the last 16 years; with an out-door practice of nearly 150 patients daily.

He has worked a lot on brain tumour, cerebrovascular accident, epilepsy, cirrhosis of the liver, chronic renal failure, fibroid uterus, skin cancer and on many declared difficult and incurable cases in his busy out-patient department. Right now he is concentrating his work more on AIDS and surgical cases. He is a regular speaker at international conferences and is invited to speak at seminars from various organisations. His articles are published in various journals of the world.
