2008 Sydney Conference

The 2008 Sydney conference promises to be an exceptional event which will bring homoeopaths together from all corners of Australia, New Zealand and beyond. The theme 'homoeopathy: evidence & efficacy' will provide an opportunity for many homoeopaths to share their valuable research and clinical experiences and is bound to arouse lively debate.

The venue for the conference is the Swiss-Grand at Bondi Beach. Both the hotel and the conference facilities are outstanding. Added to the comfort and convenience of location, Bondi Beach is a beautiful setting, especially for the out-of-towners who will love the walks along the promenade, the many pavement cafes and restaurants and the lively atmosphere of Sydney's most cosmopolitan suburb. The opportunity to enjoy the company of other practitioners and 'talk shop' in such stunning surrounds will make this conference highly memorable.

Our keynote speaker is Dr Peter Fisher who is physician to Queen Elizabeth II, Clinical Director of the Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital and Chairperson of the World Health Organization (WHO) homoeopathic working group. Besides his credentials, Dr Fisher is an outstanding presenter and an outspoken champion of complementary medicine. He has a wealth of experience as both a rheumatologist and homoeopath and his contribution to research is significant.

The conference program and the social programs are both exciting and full but if there are spare moments, there is no end to the possibilities...

Sydney is a city which has many attractions from sun soaked beaches to dazzling city highlights such as Darling Harbour and the Opera House, the Bridge and the Botanical Gardens. There are harbour cruises, pavement cafes, stunning restaurants and if all else fails, there’s always shopping!
